Is there a reason why you stutter more at home? Was there some kind of trauma at home? For me, my stutter doesn't depend on the location. Mine's more dependent on the situation and the people I'm talking to. But sometimes, it could come with no rhyme or reason. Unfortunately, I don't know much about doctors and treatment for stuttering. I know there are doctors and speech therapists for stuttering, but I don't know how effective they are. I do agree with you that it can be intimidating to talk to a doctor about this.
