Public schools are notorious for being a free-for-all mess of an educational experience, basically you thrown into a place with another 2000 kids with almost zero adult supervision. You dont know how these kids are being raised, and a lot of them come to school to act out on their issues at home, taking it out on the easiest targets, mainly teachers (cause they cant legally retaliate), overweight kids and of course kids who stutter. Honestly its just the nature of public education, makes everyone absolutely jaded and apathetic, real education starts at home where a proper 1 to 1 ratio of student vs responsible adult can happen. Hopefully public education will become a relic of the past and parents will start raising their own kids instead of dumping them with someone else for 8 hours a day
