Honestly, reading the comments makes me terrified about going into medicine because now I know what's coming. This year I will be a senior and I am starting to look at the application for medical school. I feel lost for several reasons: 1. I am studying for the MCAT and I feel totally lost, especially the critical thinking part.Time is a huge issue because I have to read the passage several times before I get it. Do you guys have the same issues? 2. Since I stutter, I feel like I might not get into medical school because I will probably give a crappy interview. How did you pass your interview? 3. Also, the competition is very tough and I feel like I might not be even good enough for an interview. The average gpa was >3.8 and MCAT >510 for a state medical school, and now everyone is doing research, tutoring, working in the medical field and having crazy numbers of shadowing and volunteering hours. 4. Lastly, there are so much family drama going on in my life which is very difficult to sometimes concentrate. Stress is terrible and sometimes I don't know why I even signed up for this. The only thing keeping me going is that medical field is the only field that I don't get bored and I am some what interested in. I am curious on what exactly did you write in your personal statements? Did you ever talk about stuttering in the essay?
