It's interesting and annoying how this darn stutter works. I recall at school the class was studying a play, so the teacher made us all take a part and re read the whole thing out loud together. I didn't stutter at my part, and I thought I was cured! so next class I volunteered and stammered all the way through! Then when i was around 15 yo i was sat at the front of the class so it felt like I was just talking to the teacher. I answered questions for the first time and eventually I got confident to raise my hand from the back of the class. after that, I really controlled my stutter well for 6 years, until at college i learned we would have to speak in front of the whole year group at the end of term. at that point it went down hill for the next 3 years until I joined the Mcguire Program. now I am back answering questions from the back of a lecture theater! sorry for the life history I guess my thumbs ran away with me! did your stutter "improve", or did you just not care about it and continued to stutter throughout your participation. how is it now?
