I think he had a couple good points.. facing the fear and anxiety. Reduce avoidances..maintain eye contact, which I think helps confidence. Even retraining your brain to think like a non-stutterer. That has helped me immensely. But he loses me at a few places. He uses the word "cure" waaay to non chalantly for me. And he said in a week? Perhaps in a very young person but im doubtful in a teenager or adult that has a certain behavior and coping mechanisms buried deep within and youre going to undo that in a week? I dont think so. I think he goes down a slippery slope by saying stuttering STARTS with anxiety and is mental. I believe there have been enough studies to prove that it doesnt start that way. Does it get worse because of anxiety and such? Absolutely. Overall, I think there are some good concepts there, but a little bit of snake oil as well. Thanks for sharing. Edit: and I just noticed the title. How to quit stuttering? Seriously? Is this like quitting smoking? Quitting implies you CHOSE to partake in the acitivity. I dont think any of us chose to stutter lol.
