There is a book recommended to Me "the diving bell and the butterfly" about the editor of Elle magazine who suffered a stroke and was left mostly paralyzed, and he had to learn to communicate again. its a good but sad read. another good reason is "the man who mistook his wife for a hat". also sad. more about brain injuries and conditions, e.g. a guy who woke up and thought it was the 1970s and couldn't understand why all his friends were so old. sorry you had this issue. if your interested, check out The Mcguire Program. it helped the lady in the video, and helped me too.
