i'm an 18 year old girl who also has a lot of confidence issues because of my stutter and i got into substance abuse because i feel unable to be happy and outgoing without running away from myself, but next month i'm going sober to a date with a girl who doesn't seem to care about my problem. i'm scared to death but wish me luck and you're not alone (sorry for my bad english, i'm brazilian)
