His stutter has nothing to do with his good or bad sides, it is not a moral or character trait. It's extremely worrying that you are just now considering this well in to your relationship and reconsidered marriage only because of his stutter. I can't imagine how hurtful that must have been for him. Quite frankly, he deserves better.
