Hello, person who got put in speech therapy here. It really depends on how bad the stutter actually is. When I got put into therapy, my stutter was very bad. Overtime it got better, but it still effects me and I can't exactly control it as much as I'd like to. If your son doesn't have a problem with it, then don't put him in therapy, but still monitor it. If it continues to get worse, I'd recommend putting him in therapy. Hope this helps and good luck!
