In highschool I would fake my stutter a little to pad out presentations cause no teacher would mark you down for having a stutter. My friends in the class were aware and found it hilarious EDIT: OK I feel I need to edit this seen as people seem to be taking this the wrong way. I have a stutter. I know it's shit. If you look at my other comments in here you'll see that. The question was asked when has your stutter benefitted you. And the honest answer is when I was a senior in high school. After all the deadshits had already dropped out. All my friends knew I stuttered and excepted me regardless so I was comfortable. When we had to give presentations at school if I was running short on time I'd use my stutter to pad out and get a little extra time out of my speech because I couldn't be marked down for stuttering but could be marked down for running short on time. My friends knew I was gaming the system and loved it. I understand how people may have taken my first paragraph the wrong way but it wasn't meant to make fun of or belittle anyone else's experience. I'd give anything to be rid of my stutter but I just answered the question honestly
