Developed Stutter Hey y'all, This isn't a super pressing thing, but I'm a teen and I developed a slight stutter a few years ago. I was highly embarrassed by it because while it was developing, people made light-hearted fun. So I work really hard to cover it, though I never went to speech therapy. Most of the time it doesn't present much of a challenge, s-words are hard and there are some words that I've learned to avoid (like dockets, seribrial, test, etc.). However, when I have panic attacks or get really emotional (mostly angry) it stands out a lot. Does it really count as a stutter if I can train myself to cover it? Why did I develop a stutter at all? If anybody has some answers I would really like to hear your thoughts! P.S. I freaked out when I watched Umbrella Academy and Diego had a stutter, started crying because I'm weird like that lol.
