I used to be so jealous of people who can effortlessly do public speaking and hold a conversation. I wanted to be like them. However, it took many many years to come to the conclusion that I am never going to be either of those no matter how hard I try, it was not in my reach. Once I realized it, I put my efforts elsewhere and didn't dwell on it. Sometimes one needs to realize one's own capabilities living with a disability like stuttering. Life is better when your accept who you are with the limitations you were born with.
