Well phrased. I don’t get it either. It’s also strange that according to the author, stuttering is a hinderance only because sOcIeTy makes is that way. I have a hunch that the big majority of stutterers think of it as a hinderance anyways, they don’t care about other people’s opinion. Such a weird statement. Tbh, this feels more like using society as a scapegoat for the reason that you cannot accept yourself rather than actually working towards a goal where your disability minimally impacts your thinking.
