The point of this is not for a cure to stuttering. I'm not anywhere cured as I have my good and bad days just like anyone else. Im just trying to point out a mindset that helped me and I think could help others as well. We need to be able to take ownership in ourselves no matter what it is and I believe we should do it in speaking as well. The community is filled with enough people saying that you stutter will never go away, it is possible but it's up to the individual to find it. Stuttering is a very individual thing and everyone has different triggers, and the root cause is possible to find I believe. Saying to be disciplined is not calling anyone lazy. EVERYONE could be more disciplined in some way.
