Sorry, I know that’s hard and I cringed with you. Nothing feels more isolating. I promise you though, if that group you were with was worth even an iota of your time, they’d understand and be patient with you. The one thing I always knew I could count on, even when I stuttered, we’re my friends who knew I stuttered and didn’t care.
