Stuttering and your hobbies

Stuttering and your hobbies Hey all! I recently got into table top war gaming after years and years of shying away from it due to the amount of speaking involved. I finally decided the hell with it and started regardless of the challenges it may involve. So far I've run into patient people but I know the day will come when I run into that one douche who gives me a hard time with it. Have any of you neglected yourselves a hobby due to the fear of speaking? If so how did you over come It? what were the results? I would love to hear some stories both good and bad so I will be better prepared to handle an impatient person!
