He dude, I have a very similar mild stutter to yours and I also go to school. I’m not an expert so my recommendations are just by my experience as a teenager. I really recommend being a stutterer openly, and if it is necessary explain what is it about. Like for example, you are talking to a boy that is not that close to you and you start with the repetitions, and they ask you why you stutter you can explain him that you have it since X age, that it just affects the way you talk and that please don’t laugh at me. I have a group of friends and they know me well so they are used to my stutter and they act pretty normal when I do. Also if you are going to expose in front of the class, you can tell the teacher privately, that you are a stutterer so he/she can understand that you are not just nervous. And please, don’t private you of saying something you want to say because of the stutter, I know it is really difficult, but you should give a fuck about what others will think, that’s how you are and they have to accept it, if they don’t, they will not be good friends for you. Please don’t let the stutter to be such an obstacle on your life, embrace it (of course if it goes away it would be better, but that’s kind of difficult lol)
