Story worth a read I’ll make this short but I am a 24M with a strong stammer and stutter and have a great little story about my time in University in one of my communications class. Basically had to have a project to speak on a topic of choice in front of my class of 30ish other kids. My topic was about chasing your passion in life and not giving up lol. Anyways there was a set order of who was going up on what days for their speech. It was finally my speech day and I went about halfway through class. Little did I know 2 people before there was a girl who of course decided her topic was about the importance of PEOPLE WITH SPEECH IMPEDIMENTS! I wish i was kidding… and sounds like it would work on my favor right? Fuck no I did my best to prepare for my speech and had numbered in order note cards. I was nervous tbh. My speech wasn’t going so well but not horrible i’d say… until I got to notecard number 4. I then realized I was expecting notecard number 3. I somehow lost notecard number 3 and then my brain went into fuck off trip mode. Let’s just say it looked and sounded like i was having a mini seizure up there and it went downhill. Speech ended and it wasn’t really a huge deal but long story short I think it was a crazy coincidence and a funny story. I tend to find the positives in things i can. TLDR; Right before i gave a big project speech in front of a class, a girl before me decided to choose people with speech impediments as her topic and i lost my notecards in the middle of my speech
