Singing is different from verbalizing. When we sing we follow a rhythm even if minutely and this makes all the difference for us as we can speak while singing without stuttering. Now verbalizing is completely different because it has no rhythm. When I served in the army during my mandatory period, I went through some delicate situations. At certain times I had to speak while singing and that made me the center of attention. It worked because I was able to communicate.
