Hey brother/sister, I know what it’s like to feel depressed due to stuttering, but there is hope. I dare say there is even a cure (even though some here may disagree but that’s their choice.) Personally, I recommend the Lovett Method. You can start with any of Lee Lovett’s books, but ideally “How to Stop Stuttering and Love Speaking”. It’s the light at the end of the long dark tunnel. From his concept of minimizing stutter incidents (e.g. by never forcing a block) to building fluency memories by reading aloud, Lee’s method has changed lives, including my own (which is why I feel obligated to take the time and write this reply).
