I am the exact same way. I have doctor's appointment for my mild-to-moderate stutter and I am going to get anxiety pills as well. I took xanax once to self-medicate and was amazed at how much it helped, but I did notice it felt particularly strong just in general, like I could not focus on anything as if I were drunk
