the more you try to NOT stutter, or hide your stutter, the more you'll end up stuttering. So do the opposite: TRY stuttering on words that are normally difficult for you.. you'll notice that you won't stutter as much, and sometimes it becomes easier to say those words when you're actively trying to stutter on them. It take fair bit of prctice to get comfortable with this mindset. So my recommendation is to practice is as much as you can with strangers, store employees, baristas, etc. When you do stutter, try to take as much time as possible to comfortably get your words out. Most people don't care if you took a second or two more to say somehting. In fact speaking in this slow easy manner will put your listener at ease, and they might start speaking slowly as well... Again practice practice practice (x 100) to get dialed down into the this mindset
