I get that. I had a hard time in my teens. If I could tell my 16 year old self something it would be that you're not something to perfect and your stutter is a feature of you. Don't let anyone tell you that you need to be fixed. You can make your speech hard or easy. Teenagers and even adults are often stupid and don't know how to handle it, and that's their fault, not yours. Also, your perceptions don't define reality. Just because your stutter makes you feel small doesn't mean that's how others perceive it. Get out of your own head. Learn to own your voice. Unlearn social pressures to speak quickly. I try to focus on making my own voice feel good and I accept that stuttering is okay (as long as it's not those long blocks, I hate those.) In any case stuttering is nothing new. You're in good company.
