Yes it has happened in the past. I moved to a new house / area recently (more crime in this area then last) and I was going on a walk at like 10 pm in my new neighborhood. Next thing I know I have 3 cops jump out a bush and basically ambush me and detain me because they think I’m breaking into cars. Them not knowing who I am, I stutter my ass off and can’t even complete a sentence. It comepletly scarred me and now I basically stutter whenever I see police now. The cops who ambushed me all thought I was lying
