The problem stems from people thinking OPINION is FACT. There is a tremendous amount of misinformation surrounding stuttering. If one presents an opinion that is based on misinformation, scientific facts will be presented to correct. People get butt hurt when their OPINION is not validated when presented with scientific fact.
