Totally agree!...having a stutterer struggle and the listener do nothing but sit and wait when the listener may have to be somewhere at the moment is probably the worst and rudest thing ever!! If anything the stutterer should WANT the help of a listener.....listeners cant just drop everything to wait-they are busy and might have to be somewhere at the moment......so natuarly they will not be able to wait for a stutterer... Cruelest thing EVER is when the stutter knows exactly what he or she is trying to say and is blocking on it....and the listener knows what the stutterer is trying to say...and the listener just waits and does not say the word for the stutterer....it's like giving the stutterer permission to struggle..... ​ Especial
