So I've been stuttering severely for almost 30 years and I've been on Adhd meds for about 5. The meds do make it worse but some meds are better or worse than others depending on your brain chemistry. Taking the meds helped me stay a lot more consistent with everything and I would recommend them. Here's what I would suggest: Try a few different types of ADHD meds to see what works best for you, Adderall tends to have a pretty strong reaction for a lot of people so that one might make it significantly worse(with a grain of salt, everyone is different). I had to try about 4 different ones before I found the one that worked for me (methylphenidate). I also only take the short release pills instead of the extended release so that I can time it with any times that I need to speak a lot. They last about 5-6 hours so I can use that window and take it later or earlier depending on my day. I hope this helps!
