Yup. Exactly the same as me. Its basically an intense fear of failing speech. This intense fear for failing speech, is ironically what makes us stutter or "fail speech". It's this anxiety loop we get caught up in. If you can talk fluently when alone, or around family, you can tecunically talk fluent everywhere. The only thing holding you back is fear/anxiety/overtinking. It's something I'm coming to terms with since a whole now, too. Fear/anxiety is tricky. It will always do its best to fool you into believing what it's telling you is true. Including things like "you will block on ... and ...." or "you can say .... or ...." in the end, its our fear fooling us, and we buy into it. It's crazy how it works. Beyond that, it has become such a huge automatic process - stuttering - that we also need to allow time to relearn speaking properly. Just some ideas I had. Not saying I know it all. Hope all is well!
