Great video! Additionally, I want to say that there are two primary behaviors how People Who Stutter (PWS) create a speech block: * PWS stop breathing out * or PWS stop with moving their articulators (like tongue or jaw) The girl in the tiktok video is doing the second one, so when the girl creates a speech block she is still creating air pressure - because we can hear her exhaling or voice, during a speech block. However, she is not moving her tongue (or jaw) to the next position in her mouth in order to create the next sound or letter. Conclusion is, that the girl is creating a speech block by not moving her articulators to the next mouth position. I wanted to explain this to the community, because most people confuse 'stop breathing out' with 'stop moving tongue/jaw'. In my experience when practicing together with other PWS, most PWS mix up the two primary behaviors. So, PWS often think they have a breathing problem, when in actuality it's not with the negative result that they focus on the wrong 'behavioral (compulsive or primary) problem'.
