I get what you are saying and do agree it might not be the best fit for everyone. Not everyone has to do every job but if someone really wanted to, I believe they could. As someone who has been told all the things she wouldn’t be able to do her entire life, and constantly proved people wrong, I do think we all have the power to do whatever we want to do, if we really want to do it. I’ve done improv. I just did the closing keynote at a big conference last week. And so many other things. It was a lot of hard work and a lot of initial stress pushing myself to do things that sucked at first. And no, none of the things I’ve done are “urgent” like a 911 operator but I do find myself when things are urgent situations I’m in the moment and stutter less. From my own experiences of people loving to tell me what I can’t do, I get a twitch when others are told when they can’t do. :) best of luck to you!
