I’m scare my stutter would affect my first job. Hi everyone, today I just received a call from a local coffee shop that offered me a job as a barista. Even though I feel happy for getting the job but I’m scare that my stutter would be a huge obstacle. This is my first ever job, and I’m worried my stutter would make me unable to function when taking orders from customers. I also happens to stutter more when I speak my native languages which are Chinese and Burmese.Also this coffee shop is really famous in my city and a lot of people come to drink there. How do some of you cope with it? As I didn’t tell my future employer about my stutter as well. Will my future employer be disappointed at me? The job starts at the beginning on next month.
