As someone who's been stuttering since he was 3.5 years old, every person I've ever met since I can remember has known me with my stutter. For me, the people I enjoy talking to and that enjoy talking to me don't feel bothered by my stutter. I've learned to be very open with my stutter so it's never an uncomfortable situation and generally pretty relaxed. Also, the longer I'm talking to a person, the more fluent I usually get. Multiple people have told me that when they're talking to me, they actually stop noticing my stutter after a while.
