I can repeat people without stuttering Hi everyone, I have stuttered all my life. I am nearing my 40's now and it has reduced by 95%. That still leaves 5%. There are a couple of things I have noticed about my stuttering over the years, and wonder if others have experienced the same. Even though I have no control over my stuttering, I have knowledge of when it will happen. I very often know on which words I will "hang" before I need to say them. If I notice it early enough, I could maybe still choose different words. Sometimes though, there are no different words because it is something like "sausage" or "cow". The most remarkable thing in these cases is that when I stop trying to say the word, and ask someone else to say it, I can immediately and with a problem say the word as well.
