Hey, thanks so much for this response! I would agree that these examples ring true. I think that part of stuttering in the sense of it increasing in frequency and strength of the block can be related to this learned behavior and preparation for the block by tending or doing other mental rituals. However we do have to remember that the first black we ever had was not learned, but just came soon us spontaneously. So in a sense believe stuttering also has a level of being a natural response, though probably the result of something else learned, such as overly filtering out behavior to fit our idea of what society expects of us.
