I hate saying my name. Luckily when I meet a new person at work Im typically introduced by another employee. Though one time when I stuttered my name at work my coworker was very rude about it. She laughed and said “come on don’t you even know your own name” These interactions are exactly why we need representation. People who interact with us for a short time think they’re witnessing us having a dumb moment, they have no idea what we actually go through.
