100% this. You have to believe in yourself first. Then other people will follow. Stuttering is awful but it does not define us. You will find a job and you will make it through this! I feel like there should be job placement agencies for people like us who want to work. We shouldn't have to put up with people who hang up on us. That happened to me a number of times when I was young too 😡 I'm better in person than I am on the phone. If you are the same, maybe consider going to a career fair. I even did a virtual one once where interviews were conducted via chat. It wasn't even for people with disabilities, it was a normal job fair! Edit: I did a quick Google search for "jobs for disabled people" and came up with a TON of sites! I didn't know these existed, now I'm interested in partnering with them to do some good in this world. This one looks interesting to me for the USA https://abilityjobfair.org/.
