Thank you!! I went on a speech improvement course for stuttering called the McGuire program, where I learned this breathing technique to help control my speech. I would say my severity before I learned this technique (and even today if I do not apply it) would be at around a 3-4. Growing up I simply avoided speaking, but when I did have to speak, I got stuck, and was barely able to speak. Man I can think of so many moments of just freezing up, and avoiding. When I don't use my techniques and if I also do not use tricks (like filler words/sounds) I could easily get stuck on a word for a long time. The technique itself is effective, but so is facing fears consistently. I go into greater detail of what steps I took in my tedx talk! Thanks again for the awesome comment, sincerely.
