Engineer here! I’m not going to lie, meetings and presentations are still challenging for me, but I’ve found that in the course of my day-to-day work (in a manufacturing plant), no one even cares about my speech impediment. For things that are stressful or very important, though, I make sure to prepare and often use written notes to help with the anxiety-caused mind blanks and stop-starts.
