Might be a pep talk again but my experience has been that you can only move ahead as a stutterer if you do something with it. For me, being ashamed and masking it made me angry just like you. I had developed fits of anger bc of stutter. Broke things, etc. But exposure therapy helped. Go out there and stutter. Stutter until they listen. You're not the problem. Why should stutterers change in order to "adjust" to the society? I don't want to adjust and become like the others because for me, that'd mean going completely silent and losing my voice. Not trying to impose anything upon you but you can think this over and go ahead with whatever works for you. Standing up for myself and making people listen has worked for me.
