I don't stutter in English, but stutter in my mother tongue My speech is almost perfect when I speak English, but I have a moderate stutter when I speak my native language. I guess it's because my mother tongue is much more harshly sounding than English and there are a lot of stutter-inducing sounds like p, t, and k. Luckily, I am studying abroad and my main language of communication is English now, so I don't have any problems with socializing, making friends, dating, etc. However I do stutter when I talk to my family members and friends from my home country. To make my life easier, I would like to find a job abroad, move there, and marry a foreign woman that doesn't speak my native language.
