Drug effectiveness would probably drastically vary by individual, would not be effective in the longterm, or would have significant unpleasant side effects. For most, impactful dysfluency is almost entirely situationally dependent *and* inconsistent. So even if a drug works for situation A one week, it might do the opposite next week. The most likely to be effective would be benzodiazepines, which reduce anxiety/fear. *But it is very dangerous to take them daily for more than 2 weeks!*
