Stuttering Makes You Unique Hi all, I hope this doesn't classify as spam at this point, but let me know if it comes across that way. I believe very strongly that stuttering gives you a competitive advantage in life. It's much more true as an adult than as a child, though. That is a huge advantage both professionally and socially. However, it being an advantage is contingent on you putting yourself out there.
