Does life get better?

Does life get better? Im now 20 years old and i stutter servierley and i moved to a new city and i feel so alone. I dont want to be a bother to thoose around me so i dont ask to hang with the few friends i got. And im wondering if life does get better. They say your 20 is the best time to be, if this is the best im ever going to have then i dont look forward to the future.
