I understand your pain. I wanted to be a music teacher for the longest time, but I’ve come to realize my stutter and tics get in the way. I do okay doing private lessons, but I had to give up that dream for now. Honestly, you should really lean into the singing. Play into your strengths. I’m sure you’ve heard this advice, but have you tried singing your spoken lines? Or at least singing over the blocks? For me, it even works to talk in rhythm. Whenever I’ve performed a speech or anything of the sort in front of people, I’ll try to find the natural cadence of the words and say them in time. Idk that’s a shitty way of explaining it but it’s helped me in the past. I’ll try to explain further if needed.
