When I learned that everybody experiences dysfluency to different degrees and that depression & anxiety are common in stutterers. I think the turning point was having a job where I had to talk about things as an expert a lot made me really accept it. I don't stutter as much, or at least don't notice it as much anymore. Find ways to cope. Seek help if you feel like you're stuck and everything is awful. My stutter is worse when I feel anxious or depressed.
