Hey there, I really appreciate your thoughtful response! I think I misunderstood your post initially, but I completely agree with your point now that you've elaborated. From what I understand, you are saying that while stuttering is a valid issue and stutterers should do what's in their power to improve their fluency, patience, self-acceptance, and managing one's mental health is an important part of that journey. Not to make assumptions, but from OP's post, it seems their mental wellness is relying a lot on the fluency of their speech, which is a dangerous place to be in. That doesn't mean I don't understand why they feel this way nor is it a criticism of OP, but I do agree that therapy may be well worth looking into. On a side note, kudos to you for pushing through those tough presentations, especially on a regular basis! So glad that you are feeling better than you did in your teens and mid-20s. Cheers mate.
