I don’t think it’s controversial to acknowledge that we like to put value on certain words we say. It may not be subconscious though, but it is a natural thing. Because there are very few legitimate studies on stuttering and all the different kinds, it leaves the community to hypothesize their own behavior which is what I’ve done here.
