I just won an Oscar and I’m too tense to speak. Since I’m 100% certain I’ll never win an Oscar or any other award… I’m not afraid of any situation where I might stutter. That lack of fear has definitely come with age (I’m 71 f). Hell, I’ve done it all and lived through it all. At my age I worry much more about dementia…and losing my cognitive and speaking abilities.
