Depends from the country you live in. In my we have private rehabs and psychotherapists, so everything is kept from disclosure. Anyone having issues may visit and get help in private. State institutions are also available, but once entered, one gets registered as an addict and will have issues with driving license or employment, or gun license, etc. You need to talk to someone you trust and figure out the further steps.
