What were some of your nicest encounters with others?

What were some of your nicest encounters with others? We discuss our bad experiences with people on this sub so often, but what were some of the nicest encounters you’ve had with non-stutterers? Whether it was someone who gave you encouragement or was patient with you, share your stories. Here’s one of mine: When I applied for my last job, I was selected for a virtual interview, which is always scary for me. I started off the interview and okay, but then I got anxious and started blocking and starting over a lot during my responses. At the end of the interview, the manager asked me if I had any questions, then asked if he could me something. He told me this wasn’t part of the interview and I wouldn’t be judged based on my answer. He asks me, *“On a human to human level, how do you deal with your stuttering at work?”* I basically told him that my speech gets worse in stressful situations, but. He said that he could tell I was nervous and it affected my performance, which made me feel so seen and validated. We talked a bit more and he gave me some encouragement. I ended up getting the job of course, and I will never forget that interview.
